From what I've been reading, this guy seems to be a stud (n/h) and a tackling machine. He may be relegated to the practice squad for the first season, but this could all depend on where Kiwi ends up playing, and if he can make the move to OLB. He is an intelligent guy (Vandy, Engineering) and was a second-team all ACC and defensive captain for the 'Dores. Also a great character guy (from VU website):
During summers mentored youngsters near hometown... Plans to major in engineering... Honor student and high academic achiever who participated in Johns Hopkins University Gifted and Talented Student Program and St. John's Prep Leadership Institute... Campus ministry retreat leader... Earned St. John's French Award in 2000... Traveled to Europe with Men's Honors Chorus.
From Vandy fans on NYG Message Boards:
-He is big and very athletic. 245 and runs a 4.6 40 time. Extremely productive career in the SEC. This kid is legit.. just didn't get as much coverage at Vandy. Even if he is on the practice squad this year, Goff has a future on the Giants.
-This kid is a brick wall big and wraps up well. He finishes a lot of plays.
