40 minutes, 4/5 FG, 9 points, 3 turnovers

That's the reason G'town lost. Jeff Green, the regular season Big East POY and Big East Tourney MVP played the whole game, fortunatly for [The] Ohio State. Even with Greg Oden in foul trouble early and forced to sit for most of the first, the game kept even. Hibbert, despite his own foul trouble, and Wallace held it down for the Hoyas (scoring 19 each on a combined 11 for 21 shooting), but Summers (1 for 10) and Lil' Pat weren't able to make up for Jeff Green's dissappearing act.

Other thoughts:

-Mike Conley, Jr. is not just unbelievably quick, but he also shows a great shot selection for a freshman guard. He really showed the ability to take over and the end of games, especially today and against Memphis last week.

-ESPN featured the "Civil Rights Game" between the Cleveland Indians and the St. Louis Cardinals today. The only black player I can name on these teams? The same one who spoke out about a lack of blacks in the league today. Many people have relayed their own opinions pertaining to the "crisis," mostly all citing the fact that many poor, inner city youth only need to buy a basketball, or whatever. Do I think it's a crisis? No. Too many people apply Jackie Robinson's actions in their mind just to the sport of baseball, or even sports in general. While his actions weren't the only catalyst of the push towards equality, they did improve lives outside of sports. So should there be more blacks in baseball? Sure, if they want to play. I don't think the lack of blacks in baseball is any more detrimental to the sport as the lack of whites in basketball. Certain groups gravitate to certain sports, and since the 1980's (MJ, sponsors like Nike and the subsidiary Jordan, AI, and other prominant black figures) have garnered exponentially the interest of black youths in basketball, and thats just the way it is. Sorry C.C., I guess Kirby Puckett couldn't say the same for his sport.

-Did anyone notice the chick interviewing John Thompson XIII or whatever John Thompson he is, after the game? Why was she whispering while asking him questions? That was the cheesiest effect to amplify the somber moment. SPEAK UP WOMAN!

-Two jewels YouTube has given to the world this week:
Tony Parker Rapping which is much funnier than "MC Rove" and Clark the Canadian Hockey Goalie (courtesy: BK Stack $). Because of Clark, I will try to incorporate the term "Hoser" into my everyday life. Like the hoser bumping the God-awful Nelly Furtado, Timbaland, and Justin Timberlake song in his Ponitiac Solstice in our school's parking lot Thursday morning. He deserved to have his sweater pulled over the head and beaten senseless.

-The commercial with the Virginia Tech fan and his Coca-Cola rituals is pretty sad. First, he looks as if he is alone, and about 29 to 35 years old. By my estimation, there are about 20 coke cans there. Would it be more depressing if those were bud lights and he was by himself? I'm not sure. Things to think about....

1st Post

Yesterday, my roomate, a few other friends and I went to Yonkers Raceway and casino. It's not a regular casino, as only slot machines are present. Anyways, usually when I go to a casino, like in AC, it takes me a while to lose all my money, but I use some reasoning on the same level Ike would use to Tina after a beat down, that at least I have (insert dollar amout) of fun for (time between 2-4 hours). But yesterday, I won $60 on a $5 insert almost immediatly. I chose to not redeem my winnings until we left, so I had to stick around for another 2 hours while my friends blew their money, making for a very boring evening. I said to one of my friends, the next time I feel bad about myself, I'm going to this casino. One of the worst images, besides the toilet-lining bowl movement I stumbled across in the downstairs men's bathroom, occured as I watched as a balding old woman by herself in a wheelchair with a spine curved like a spoon could not have pressed Max Bet without the aid of a wooden backscratcher. I could have come down with a case of the Chlams Casino the night before, and left this place still feeling good about myself, no matter how much I lost.

Today is the Final Four. This used to be a great day, full of excitement...back when the only money I had to gamble with came out of the change cup in my mom's 1998 pontiac. Now, I feel like a wingman to the possible 10 people who can come home winners in my ESPN pool. Thanks, Kansas.

http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/03/29/space.marathon.ap/index.html. This link, a polar opposite to the spoon spine woman, is the exact illustration of the people I detest. Go head and say, "GWH, you detest her because you ain't her!" Well you may be right, but you are also wrong for two reasons. First, I would never want to be a woman (menstration, child birth, low aptitude in math and science [kidding]). Secondly, I hate showoffs. She basically is the Deion Sanders of the NASA program right now. Just think about the amount of money it costs to keep this uppity bitch in space, and she is running a pseudo-marathon. I bet she picked all #1 and #2 seeds in her NCAA pool also.

A few weeks ago, a friend sent me this link, and I couldn't get over it. This is like "My Super Sweet Escort." First off, you can't even see her face, unless you become a "Club Ivana" member. By far, the most unintentionaly funny product of this site is on the gift-giving page, where she aptly declares, "Gifts are not required. However, if you enjoy giving gifts, I enjoy recieving from you." Let's see what other answers in life could replace the bolden letters...

-oral sex
-back rubs
-free rides
-the "extra pass"
-appitizers on trays, that are distributed by young men and women at fancy parties

Besides her "long weekend" rates set at $25k, Ms. Blurryface also requires an interview with the canidate. So basically, she is a condensed year at a private college. Sorry hun, if i really wanted a loose slot that bad, I'd just take my money to Yonkers.
