Sunday Wrap Up

First off, I lost my lock of the year. Good news is that I don't have to post my mom's cell phone number since I said I guaranteed the Pats would win, without mentioning covering the spread.

So, what was the most memorable moment of this weekend? Was it ESPN Commentator Pam Ward calling the Northwestern football team the "Cardiac Cats" moments after their coach's widow was interviewed by the same network (whose husband died suddenly of a heart attack last year)? Maybe it was Antonio Cromarte returning a missed FG from 57 yards out for a 109-yard TD (afterwards, Minnesota K Rian Longwell blamed the missed FG on a "K ball" being switched by accident for a quarterback ball... whatever deuchebag. I don't think Tavaris Jackson's personal pigskin stash seriously hurt your chances of nailing a 57 yard FG). Or was it Tom Brady hooking up with Wes Welker (no homo) for the touch down, en route to the comeback against the Colts?

Here's the video (although I don't remember half of the game being green) of the suspected Colts' cheating. Today, members of the Pats accused the Colts and the RCA Dome of illegally manufacturing fake crowd noise during the game (and this isn't the first time they have been accused of this). Where can I get this for my ringtone??? I noticed this yesterday during the game and pointed it out to da great white dad, who promptly smacked his ear repeatedly with an open palm, simulating the noise. Needless to say, its been a long 4 months since I've moved back home. Nice to see the Pats have become the accusers...

Cinci KR Glenn Holt explains how he lost 2 front teeth after returning a kick 100 yards for a TD. Anyone who has had the mess that is Dhani Jones on their team for at least one year can understand how this can happen.
